Project Manager (Banking)

iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness is seeking an experienced Intermediate Project Manager with a strong background in banking and financial services to lead and deliver strategic business and technology projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project lifecycles from initiation through to implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.

The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, a solid understanding of banking operations and regulatory environments, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technology domains.

• 4–6 years of Project Management experience.
• 2–5 years of experience within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven experience delivering business and technology projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery models.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Knowledge of banking products and services, including:
  • Retail Banking
  • Digital Banking
  • Payments
  • Lending and Credit
  • Customer Onboarding
  • Risk and Compliance
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and reporting abilities.
• Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar.
