DEVELOPED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PARAGON +IMPACT
Paragon +Impact is a global expert tech company specialising in digital impact analysis with a mission to reduce the complexity of ESG and sustainability reporting. They empower organisations to make more informed decisions in order to manage their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks, achieve their impact goals and ultimately contribute to Agenda 2030, whilst communicating their performance in a sophisticated manner.
HOW IT WORKS
The Impact Grading Tool is a cloud-based digital solution that evaluates a business’ environmental, social and governance (ESG) readiness and performance against several prescribed international frameworks and domestic laws to allow a holistic and honest evaluation. It measures a business’ alignment to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) objectives amongst other obligations. The 17 UN SDGs for example provide a global “shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future”. While most businesses remain unaware of their impact on our shared natural and social capital, the Impact Grading Tool helps organisations take the necessary steps towards achieving sound, fair and measurable outcomes when it comes to their ESG impacts.
Part of the appeal of the Impact Grading Tool to many, especially listed, entities, is that for the first time, businesses are able to see a high level dashboard view of their myriad obligations and their teams’ progress in meeting these obligations. At present, governance teams can spend months and millions collating data – a process that the Impact Grading Tool can do in a fraction of the time, and at a significantly reduced overall cost.
“If we can get ESG right, we can solve so many of our society’s problems – from sustainable management of precious natural resources, to treating our staff and communities well, and working responsibly wherever we are in the world”.
