This user experience course provides an introduction to the field of UX: both design and research aspects. The course aims to facilitate learning around the systematic and data-driven process that is UX. You will gain an understanding of what UX entails and its spectrum of tools and methods: from conducting user interviews to creating and evaluating prototypes. You will also learn the differences between User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design.
What you will learn
- Introduction and Overview : We'll kick off the course by introducing you to the field of UX Design: what it is, where it originates from, and the difference between UI and UX Design.
- The Value of UX : learn about why UX is important and what value it adds to a project and to the business at large.
- Design Process Applications of UX : In this section we'll take a deep dive into the UX process and methods by looking at each step involved.
- Multi-Disciplinary Team Collaboration : Lastly, we'll cover how UX impacts and assists each part of the business and how it can help improve team collaboration and facilitate conversations.
